Implant Size Measurements
Breast implant sizes are measured in metric volume by cubic centimeters. Common breast implant sizes may be 300cc, 350cc, 400cc and so on. The entire range of breast implants go from 100cc to 2000cc. In the case of saline breast implants the implant is filled to its capacity after being placed during the procedure. Silicone breast implants are pre-filled. As a result silicone breast implants require a larger incision when placed, usually about one inch larger.
