Plastic surgeons seem to be in agreement that women who have received breast implants are almost entirely glad that they did. If there is a reason for dissatisfaction the primary issue seems to be the breast implant size, according to some recent studies. How are doctors in the field of plastic surgery addressing this issue?Most commonly people in the field recommend the rice test. This involves using a volume of rice comparable to that of an implant in a square little plastic bag, which you then stuff into your bra. The results of the test are crude but give you a rough estimate of what your new breast size might look like. Despite the poor statistics, it appears this recommendation is still predominant in the field.
Thankfully, there have been some recent advances recently to help with this problem. The most common reason for dissatisfaction is regret over her choice in breast implant size. What are the potential remedies to this problem?

With recent news on the topic, I am encouraged that women will have more options while facing this decision. Hopefully, you will avoid re-operations by taking more time to make a good choice the first time around
Try wearing a breast implant sizing system over a period of a few days, or even over a few weeks. By using different breast implant sizes you will eventually find a size that suits you best. For example, you might try on a C cup one weekend, followed by a D cup the next weekend. Wear the sizers at home, at work, or even out shopping for new clothes.
Take before and after photos of yourself wearing the implant sizers so that you can get a visual perspective of yourself with different breast sizes. Make sure to try a few different angles and in different lighting. This activity can especially be fun when done with a friend or significant other.
